Lucia thawed the frosty morning at the Faculty of Medicine and it was beautiful (and funny)

Lucia brings lit candles when it's at its darkest. Today, she and her white-clad entourage walked into CRC and Forum Medicum.

The modern Lucia celebration is considered to have started in the 1920s in Stockholm, with a public procession organized by a newspaper.

Lucia's origins: as a saint in Sicily, via German 18th century tradition to today, December 13, 2023, when she is now apparently housed among SUS staff in the choir Capella Hospitalis and at LTH, in the LTH choir.

Both choirs thawed the frosty darkness of the winter morning and it was beautiful.
