In 2019, the University Management decided that each faculty is responsible for appointing scientific representatives.

What does the ombudsman do?

A scientific ombudsman provides independent advice and support on issues related to scientific activities, such as publishing, the author's responsibility or research collaborations.

If your question concerns authorship, please look at the Vancouver recommendations that can be found at the link below. The Ombudsman is then ready to answer any questions you may have.

What does the ombudsman not do?

Topics not dealt with by the ombudsman:

  • Issues related to work environment and personal conflicts
  • Advice and support for research concerning research ethics and the research
    ethics regulations 
  • Suspicion of misconduct in research
