Reminder: Time to nominate for the Electoral College

It's not too late to influence who becomes Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Lund University. Make sure to nominate a representative to the Electoral College no later than 2 February.

On behalf of the Faculty of Medicine, 4 teacher representatives and 2 representatives of other employees shall be appointed. 

Nominate! 

Enter the name of the person you want to nominate and for which position. Also provide a brief motivation as to why the nominated person could contribute to the work of the Electoral College and attach their CV. 

A prerequisite for nomination is that the person in question has been contacted and makes himself or herself available. Eligibility is verified by the Nomination Committee.

Who can nominate?

You must be employed at Lund University at least 50% of full-time.  You must have a permanent position or at least two years of continuous employment.  Doctoral students are considered students in accordance with Chapter 1. 4 § HF and are not eligible to nominate in the election.

Persons holding positions in the category of other employees, employed by the university on 1 February 2024. 

Academic staff representatives

Persons who are scientifically or artistically competent teachers and employees of the university on 1 February 2024.  The category of scientifically or artistically competent teachers includes the following positions: 

  • Postdoc 
  • Professor 
  • Visiting professor 
  • Adjunct Professor 
  • Senior lecturer 
  • Adjunct senior lecturer
  • Directly appointed professor
  • Associate senior lecturer
