Report from the Faculty Board meeting (February 7)

The Board of the Faculty of Medicine (MFS) has held a meeting.

The Dean began with a brief introduction to the work of the new Board. This was followed by a presentation of Future Faculty by the association's chairman Anders Rasmussen, and the CFO gave a financial overview and introduction to the faculty's financial situation. At the meeting, the faculty's animal research were also presented by the university veterinarian and the dean gave an update on the continued work on the topic.

Decisions

Decisions concerned a number of appointments of members of various committees and boards that were up for changes in connection with the new management taking office. In addition, decisions concerned the cancellation of an appointment to a position as Associate Senior Lecturer in Nursing with a focus on intensive care due to a lack of qualified applicants, a position as Adjunct Professor of Surgery, a promotion to Senior Lecturer in Speech and Language Pathology, the announcement of two positions as Associate Senior Lecturer in Molecular Medicine and a request for the establishment of a position as Professor with a focus on neurological-psychiatric medicine funded by a donation.
