Swarm of summer workers putting life at Medfak in order

You will recognize them by the black uni tees, the 15 young summer workers now on site at BMC (mainly) who work hard to put all in place after the intense moving carousels. On the command bridge: Joel Johansson and Zippo Prajz, both at Medservice.

Sure are busy and hot summer work days for 15 hard-working extra workers at Medfak right now.
– They´re doing work at HSC as well as in buildings E, F, H, and I. Right now we are furnishing rooms, distributing kitchen equipment, collecting empty moving boxes, cleaning, completing office rooms and helping the regular service technicians with their work, since a large part of our staff also are on holidays, says Zippo Prajz.

Isak Brandt and Tilde Bjernetun are two of the summer workers.
– Most of the work has been to move stuff, so we are physically active all the time and the best thing is that we always work in pairs or in groups, says Isak.
- I have met a lot of nice people among Medfak´s staff and we´re having lots of fun with our colleagues. In the beginning it was quite difficult to find way in the different buildings and to figure out which lift or which stairs you had to take to get to the right place, explains Tilde and continues:
– The body has definitely been sore and we´ve been tired due to long days of hard work.
– And there has been a bit of muscle soreness and some whining about shoe chafing, but that's part of the deal, I guess, says Isaac.

The moving is all going according to plan.
– The goal is for us to be done by the fourth of August, which is the last day of work for our summer workers, says Joel Johansson.

So, no summer holidays?
Joel: - The staff from Med-service who mainly work with the move will be busy all summer, but we will try to take some time off when the opportunity arises. We look forward to a relaxing holiday after the inauguration of Forum Medicum.
