Are you a PhD student or a Post Doc at the Faculty of Medicine? If so, mark Thursday, October 17th in your calendar, because there’s a golden opportunity for you to take part in a seminar that will give you new insights into why publishing is key to an academic career.

In a rare opportunity the Australian Professor Sonya Girdler will share her academic journey and authorship. The seminar will debunk the myths of an academic career – advocating the ‘customer service approach’ to being successful and how to build effective international collaborations in research, and ‘why you should avoid being an airport professor’.
