Quality assurance of the PhD course "Generic Knowledge and Skills - Portfolio" is now underway.

Course leader Olga Göransson has gathered the Deputy Heads for doctoral education and study coordinator Jan Lexell to work with quality assurance of the doctoral course "Generic Knowledge and Skills".

The course, which is taught and examined through a portfolio, is given to all PhD students at the Faculty and focuses on generic knowledge and skills.

The aim of the quality assurance is to investigate the need for a revision of the curriculum and assessment criteria, which in turn facilitates the examination.

The portfolio constitutes a large part of our PhD students doctoral programme. Therefore, it is valuable that we update the criteria for assessment of the portfolio, as support for our deputy heads for doctoral education, who will be responsible for the examination, says Professor Jan Lexell, study coordinator for doctoral education at the Faculty of Medicine.
