The course, which is taught and examined through a portfolio, is given to all PhD students at the Faculty and focuses on generic knowledge and skills.
The aim of the quality assurance is to investigate the need for a revision of the curriculum and assessment criteria, which in turn facilitates the examination.
– The portfolio constitutes a large part of our PhD students doctoral programme. Therefore, it is valuable that we update the criteria for assessment of the portfolio, as support for our deputy heads for doctoral education, who will be responsible for the examination, says Professor Jan Lexell, study coordinator for doctoral education at the Faculty of Medicine.
