Having pedagogical challenges? Come to Open house at MedCUL!

Are you wrestling with a pedagogical challenge? Now there's hope! Grab your computer and maybe a colleague and come to open house at MedCUL (the Faculty of Medicine Centre for Teaching and Learning). 3 occasions.

Maybe you're struggling with a course syllabus and thinking about the alignment between learning outcomes and assessment? Or you're writing multiple choice questions, but can't possibly formulate them so that they reach a higher SOLO taxonomy level?

Magnus Hillman, director of MedCUL, why are you hosting an open house?
"We know that many persons who teach at the faculty appreciate bouncing ideas off each other and get feedback on for example exam questions, assessment forms, and syllabi. Moreover, we know it's useful to talk with others and exchange ideas and get new perspectives. Therefore, we want to create an opportunity to meet here on a few occasions during the spring. We from MedCUL will also participate, of course."

That sounds great! When will it be?
"In the afternoon of March 11, we're having the first open house, from 1 PM to 4 PM. The next time will be April 3 from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the last time this spring will be May 3 from 9 AM to 12 PM."

And where?
"On floor 14 at Forum Medicum (BMC building E). Someone from MedCUL will meet you at the elevators on the entrance floor (floor 11) and show you the way."

One last question: will there be coffee?
"There will definitely be coffee!"
