What did you do before you came to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences?
"I trained as an economist/systems scientist in the 90s. Started at the University in 1995 and have worked at the Faculty of Economics and Management and the School of Economics and Management before the Faculty of Economics."
What is the best thing about working at the Faculty of Medicine?
"The best thing that comes to mind is that the Faculty of Medicine seems to have a particularly strong attraction for nice, funny, talented and smart people, where all qualities are often contained in one and the same person. I meet them everywhere – in my office, in meetings, in management, in our departments. Everywhere you go, you are met by a fantastic amount of knowledge packaged in a nice person. It is very stimulating to work in such an environment, it makes you happy and at the same time humble. I think it's important to have reason to look up to colleagues at work, and there are good opportunities for that at the Faculty of Medicine."
What's the most fun thing you've done at work (at the Faculty of Medicine)?
"I've had lots of fun at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, but after thinking about it a bit, the inauguration of Forum Medicum is a top moment. It was fun, but most of all I was very proud there and then to be a part of the Faculty of Medicine. The faculty inaugurated a cool building in a very cool way. I didn't participate in the planning at all, but I understand that it took some courage to place a DJ on the stairs. Everything was very successful with a strong wow feeling. So a big thank you to everyone who contributed to that experience!"
