If you plan to use biobank samples for your research project where Lund University is the research principal, a biobank agreement with Region Skåne's biobank is required. A biobank agreement between Region Skåne's biobank and Lund University counts as a cooperation agreement. The biobank agreement only comes into force after your biobank application has been submitted, approved and all parties have signed.
Who signs my application?
Your application with the correct form must be signed by an authorized representative of the principal investigator (Lund University). In the case of collaboration agreements, the delegation order applies to sign on behalf of Lund University.

The head of department must also approve your application if you make it within the framework of the institution's activities, regardless of whether the head of department is a formal signatory or not.
