Students celebrated Forum Medicum: "A basis for lifelong collaboration"

This week it was the students' turn to raise their glasses to Forum Medicum. The mingle offered speeches, snacks and piano music by Deputy Dean Martin L Olsson.

The celebration began with speeches by Dean Kristina Åkesson, Vice Dean Maria Björkqvist and Emilia Rydén, spokesperson for the student union.

– Future speech therapists, audiologists, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, radiology nurses, occupational therapists, public health and biomedical scientists. Together you will improve people's lives: care, research and save lives. To finally find ourselves under the same roof, in a building designed for modern pedagogy, is a basis for lifelong collaboration, Emilia Rydén said in her speech.

Maria Björkqvist, Vice Dean with responsibility for the faculty's education, also underlined the possibilities for new meetings:

– Seize the opportunity, say hello to your fellow students and be a curious about other education programs, not just your own! There is a big win about this house. Now there is the opportunity to meet.

The afternoon was also gilded by beautiful piano playing with Deputy dean Martin L Olsson at the keys.
