Your h-index and your citations – Check your numbers and increase your visibility
Funding bodies often request bibliometric data to be included in grant applications. This is a workshop for researchers and PhD students who would like to know the impact of their publications in number of citations, and increase the visibility of their publications in databases such as Scopus and Web of Science.
Content
This workshop will enable you to find your individual bibliometric measures, citations, in Scopus and Web of Science, and to improve your visibility in these databases. In particular, you will learn
- how to find your h-index,
- how to find your total number of citations and an overview over who has cited you,
- how to download your publication list, ranked by citations,
- what your Scopus author profile is, and how to use it,
- how you increase the visibility of your publications by connecting your Scopus profile with your ORCID (international researcher ID),
- what your Web of Science author record is, how you claim it and get the correct bibliometric data.
