We have been informed that a fire has broken out in a solar cell system on the roof of BMC in Lund. No person has been reported injured, nor has any biobank material been damaged. The emergency services are on site and state that the initial fire was extinguished at 13.20 o'clock. They are now working to check that the fire has not spread to the building's structure. The area around the building is cordoned off and to protect human life, we urge everyone who works at BMC to evacuate if you are on site and not to go to the workplace until further notice if you are at home or elsewhere.

The faculty has established a crisis management team that handles the situation for the faculty. Thank you for your help in complying with the instructions in this message.

Regards,
