GDE: Funding opportunities available

There are now good opportunities for funding for those who want to develop international collaborations in research, education or innovation. Apply before 21 August.

The so-called stimulus funds are related to the university's global engagement, GDE. Teresa Svarvell, head of the International Office explains:

What is GDE?

GDE stands for Global Dynamic Engagement. This is Lund University's way to stimulate and support activities to enhance our international impact in research, education, innovation and collaboration," says Teresa Svarvell.

Open calls

Lund University currently has three parallel calls (see fact box) open that are aimed at doctoral students, teachers and researchers who can apply for funding to develop international collaborations and participate in activities that are in line with the priorities of GDE. The funds are intended as grants for stays at partner universities outside the EU/EEA area. The universities selected in this call are linked to the GDE work. You choose which of these universities you want to establish contact with.

When should I apply?

The deadline for applications is 21 August and the stay for which you are applying for funding must end no later than 31 July 2025.
