The aim of the evening is to increase interest in exchange studies among our students, but also to take care of our incoming students and give them the opportunity to meet each other and our Swedish students.

Every semester, the Faculty's International office organizes an "Evening for international opportunity".

Students who have been away on exchange studies present their experiences and incoming exchange students who have come to us participate in a panel and answer questions; why they chose Lund, how they experience studies/clinical work here compared to in their home countries, what they like best about Lund.

Jessica Qiu and Natalie Shantz, who are studying occupational therapy at University of Toronto, Canada, longed to try Swedish fika and compared the educations in Canada and Sweden:

"Here in Sweden, you work more interprofessionally, compared to Canada, both in education and at the clinic.

During the evening, our student ambassadors also participated and told us about the Certificate of International Merits and our Buddy Group. In addition, a quiz was held, with a nice prize.

The purpose of the evening is to inspire and increase interest in exchange studies among our students, but also to take care of our incoming students and give them the opportunity to meet each other and our Swedish students.

The evening was led by a moderator who is always a teacher with a special interest in internationalization. This time it was Magnus Gram who is internationally responsible for the biomedicine programmes.

The evening ended with pizza and mingle.
